Social Responsibility
At Pioneer, our passion for helping others extends well beyond the
borders of our local communities. In addition to giving back to
charitable organizations and causes, we also pride ourselves in our
continual dedication to preserving and protecting our environment.
Waste Reduction
We
understand that it’s important to limit the size of our work-related
CO2 footprint in order to ensure a viable planet for our next
generation. That’s why we take actions every day that support green and
eco-friendly initiatives.
Since December 2010, we have replaced
styrofoam/plastic cups with ceramic cups for all beverages and bottled
water with filtered tap-water. In addition, we started using recycled
paper for printing, made double-sided printing the norm and use recycled
printing cartridges. With these two initiatives, Pioneer has reduced
waste by over 70%.
Community investment
Pioneer has
a strong commitment to bettering our world at large. We believe our
actions today can have tremendous repercussions for our world tomorrow.
Our goal is to build and maintain relationships with Non-Government
Agencies (NGOs) and Charity organizations who contribute to the progress
of communities around the world. We are proud to support the following
